Massage Aftercare

To get the most out of your massage session you should…

Drink plenty of water …
to help flush out the toxins that just have been released from the tissues. This will aid the detoxifying process and to rehydrate your body.

Avoid alcohol …
or any other stimulants (and that’s include drugs, tea, coffee) for at least 12 hours after the treatment they will de-hydrate you.

Avoid heavy meals …
post treatment. Only eat a light meal (possibly healthy one – vegetarian, vegan)

Rest after the treatment …
to allow the body to heal and settle. Gentle walking is recommended.

Have a relaxing bath …
rather than a shower to help relieve everyday stress and tension.
